  • What is the maximum file size I can transfer?

    The maximum file size for transfer is 5 GB for free users. Create an account to increase it.

  • How long are files stored on your server?

    Files are stored for 7 days for free users. After that, they are automatically deleted. With your SwiftSend account, you can set the expiration date up to a year in advance.

  • Can I transfer files anonymously without registering?

    Yes. You can upload and share files without creating an account. Simply go to the homepage, add your files, and share the generated link with your recipient. No registration is required for basic transfers.

  • What should I do if my file upload is interrupted or does not complete?

    In case a file upload is interrupted (e.g., internet connection failure), you can continue uploading from the point of interruption instead of starting the upload from the beginning.

  • How is the security of my transmitted files ensured?

    Security and privacy are the cornerstones of our application. We utilize secure transmission protocols (such as HTTPS) to establish a secure connection between your device and our servers. This ensures that your files are safeguarded from interception or eavesdropping by third parties.

  • Is it possible to set a password for my transferred files?

    Yes, you can set a password for your file transfers to provide additional protection (not available in Free Forever plan).

  • How will I know if my file has been successfully delivered to the recipient?

    You will receive a notification email when the recipient downloads the file. Registered users can see an access log of each transfer.

  • Can I track my file transfer history?

    Yes, you can track your transfer history in your profile's 'My transfers' section.

  • How can I contact your support if I have a problem?

    If you have a problem, you can describe it in detail on the Contact Support page.

  • If I sent files by mistake, can I close access to the files?

    Yes. Click on your profile, then the 'My transfers' section, and select the desired transfer. You can delete the transfer, hide or set a password, and much more.

  • What is your advantage over competitors?

    a. Your recipient can start downloading files immediately after you’ve started uploading files. Suppose the recipient's internet speed is not lower than your internet speed. They will finish downloading the files at about the same moment you finish uploading them. b. 1. Introduction

SwiftSend, operated by EQUINOX DYNAMICS, UNIPESSOAL LDA ("SwiftSend," "we," "us," or "our"), respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of the Service to do the same.

This Copyright & Takedown Policy describes how we handle reports of alleged copyright infringement and other intellectual property violations involving Content uploaded to swiftsend.io. It applies in addition to our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy.

SwiftSend acts as a hosting provider with respect to Content uploaded by users. We do not create, select, or modify user Content, and we process takedown requests in accordance with applicable law, including the EU Digital Services Act (DSA), the EU E-Commerce Directive, and the principles underlying the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

2. How to Submit an Infringement Report

If you are a rights holder (or authorised to act on behalf of a rights holder) and believe that Content on the Service infringes your intellectual property rights, please submit a report as follows:

  1. Your contact information: Full name, company name (if applicable), email address, and postal address
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work: A description of the copyrighted work or intellectual property right you claim has been infringed. If multiple works are covered by a single report, please provide a representative list
  3. Location of the infringing Content: The specific URL(s) or transfer link(s) of the allegedly infringing Content on swiftsend.io
  4. Good-faith statement: A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the Content is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or applicable law
  5. Accuracy statement: A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your report is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorised to act on their behalf
  6. Signature: Your physical or electronic signature

3. What Happens After You Submit a Report

Upon receipt of a complete and valid infringement report, we will:

  1. Acknowledge receipt of your report within 2 business days
  2. Notify the uploader of the alleged infringement within 24–48 hours of receipt, providing them with: a copy of your report (with your personal contact details redacted where appropriate), information about their right to submit a counter-notice, and a reasonable opportunity to respond
  3. Review the report and the uploader's response, if any, within a reasonable timeframe
  4. Take appropriate action, which may include:
    • Removing or disabling access to the allegedly infringing Content
    • Retaining the Content if we determine the report is incomplete, invalid, or the use appears lawful (e.g., fair use, fair dealing)
  5. Inform you of the action taken

4. Expedited Removal

We will remove Content immediately and without prior notice to the uploader in the following cases:

  • The Content is clearly illegal under applicable law (e.g., child sexual abuse material, content promoting terrorism)
  • The Content poses an imminent security risk (e.g., active malware distribution)
  • We receive a valid court order or binding legal instruction requiring immediate removal

5. Counter-Notice Procedure

If your Content was removed and you believe this was done in error — for example, because you are the rights holder, have a licence to use the Content, or believe your use constitutes fair use or fair dealing — you may submit a counter-notice.

To submit a counter-notice

Email legal@swiftsend.io with the subject line "Counter-Notice" and include:

  1. Your full name, address, telephone number, and email address
  2. Identification of the Content that was removed and the URL or location where it appeared before removal
  3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief that the Content was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification
  4. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts of Portugal (for EU users) or the jurisdiction of the appropriate courts in your country of residence (for non-EU users)
  5. Your physical or electronic signature

What happens next

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original complainant. If the complainant does not notify us within 10 business days that they have filed a legal action to restrain the allegedly infringing activity, we may, at our discretion, restore access to the removed Content.

6. Repeat Infringer Policy

SwiftSend has a strict policy against repeat infringers in accordance with applicable law and the EU Digital Services Act.

  • First confirmed violation: Formal warning to account
  • Second confirmed violation: Temporary account suspension and formal warning
  • Third confirmed violation: Permanent account suspension with no right to reinstatement

We reserve the right to permanently terminate an account immediately and without warning in cases involving:

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any illegal content involving minors
  • Large-scale commercial piracy
  • Malware or ransomware distribution
  • Any other clearly egregious violation

"Confirmed violation" means a violation that has been verified by our team following our review process, including consideration of any counter-notice submitted by the uploader.

7. Abuse of the Takedown Process

Submitting false, misleading, or bad-faith infringement reports is a serious matter. Under applicable law (including 17 U.S.C. § 512(f) in the United States), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be liable for damages incurred by the alleged infringer. We reserve the right to report abusive complainants to appropriate authorities.
