  • What is the maximum file size I can transfer?

    The maximum file size for transfer is 5 GB for free users. Create an account to increase it.

  • How long are files stored on your server?

    Files are stored for 7 days for free users. After that, they are automatically deleted. With your SwiftSend account, you can set the expiration date up to a year in advance.

  • Can I transfer files anonymously without registering?

    Yes. You can upload and share files without creating an account. Simply go to the homepage, add your files, and share the generated link with your recipient. No registration is required for basic transfers.

  • What should I do if my file upload is interrupted or does not complete?

    In case a file upload is interrupted (e.g., internet connection failure), you can continue uploading from the point of interruption instead of starting the upload from the beginning.

  • How is the security of my transmitted files ensured?

    Security and privacy are the cornerstones of our application. We utilize secure transmission protocols (such as HTTPS) to establish a secure connection between your device and our servers. This ensures that your files are safeguarded from interception or eavesdropping by third parties.

  • Is it possible to set a password for my transferred files?

    Yes, you can set a password for your file transfers to provide additional protection (not available in Free Forever plan).

  • How will I know if my file has been successfully delivered to the recipient?

    You will receive a notification email when the recipient downloads the file. Registered users can see an access log of each transfer.

  • Can I track my file transfer history?

    Yes, you can track your transfer history in your profile's 'My transfers' section.

  • How can I contact your support if I have a problem?

    If you have a problem, you can describe it in detail on the Contact Support page.

  • If I sent files by mistake, can I close access to the files?

    Yes. Click on your profile, then the 'My transfers' section, and select the desired transfer. You can delete the transfer, hide or set a password, and much more.

  • What is your advantage over competitors?

    a. Your recipient can start downloading files immediately after you’ve started uploading files. Suppose the recipient's internet speed is not lower than your internet speed. They will finish downloading the files at about the same moment you finish uploading them. b. In case a file upload is interrupted (e.g., internet connection failure), the sender can continue uploading from the point of interruption instead of starting uploading from the beginning. c. When transferring multiple files within folders, organization is preserved during the entire cycle, from uploading through downloading.

Acceptable Use Policy

1. Introduction

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes what you may and may not do when using the SwiftSend file transfer service ("Service"), operated by EQUINOX DYNAMICS, UNIPESSOAL LDA ("SwiftSend," "we," "us," or "our"). This AUP is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service and forms a binding part of your agreement with us.

By using the Service, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violations may result in suspension or permanent termination of your account.

2. Prohibited Content

You may not upload, store, transfer, or share any Content that:

2.1. Is Illegal or Harmful

  • Violates any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
  • Constitutes, facilitates, or promotes illegal activity of any kind
  • Contains or promotes hate speech, discrimination, or violence based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics
  • Promotes or glorifies terrorism, violent extremism, or organisations designated as terrorist organisations
  • Depicts, promotes, or facilitates human trafficking, slavery, or exploitation

2.2. Involves Child Safety

  • Contains child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any sexually explicit content involving minors
  • Depicts minors in a sexual, exploitative, or harmful manner
  • Is designed to facilitate grooming, exploitation, or harm to minors

Any account found to be associated with CSAM will be immediately and permanently terminated, and the matter will be reported to relevant authorities and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) or equivalent organisations.

2.3. Infringes Intellectual Property Rights

  • Infringes any copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, or other intellectual property right of any person
  • Contains pirated software, music, films, games, or other protected content without authorisation
  • Violates the terms of any software licence agreements

2.4. Violates Privacy

  • Contains personal data of individuals without their consent and in violation of applicable data protection laws
  • Constitutes doxxing (publishing private identifying information about individuals without consent)
  • Violates any person's right to privacy or publicity

2.5. Contains Malicious Code or Threats

  • Contains viruses, worms, Trojan horses, ransomware, spyware, adware, or any other malicious or harmful code
  • Is designed to attack, damage, disable, or gain unauthorised access to any system, network, or device
  • Constitutes a threat, harassment, or cyberbullying directed at any individual

2.6. Is Otherwise Objectionable

  • Contains obscene, pornographic, or sexually explicit material (other than lawful adult content on platforms where this is permitted — note: SwiftSend is a general-purpose file transfer service and does not permit adult content)
  • Promotes or facilitates self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders
  • Constitutes spam, phishing, or deceptive content
  • Impersonates any person, company, or organisation in a misleading or deceptive way
  • Contains false or misleading information that could cause harm

3. Prohibited Activities

In addition to the Content restrictions above, you may not use the Service to:

  • Abuse the infrastructure: Use the Service in a manner that imposes an unreasonable or disproportionate load on our infrastructure, including but not limited to automated mass uploads or download scripts
  • Circumvent restrictions: Use technical means to bypass file size limits, storage limits, download limits, or other restrictions associated with your plan
  • Scrape or harvest data: Use automated tools to extract data from the Service, including transfer links, user information, or other content
  • Resell the Service: Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without our prior written consent
  • Undermine security: Attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service or its infrastructure, or breach any security or authentication measure
  • Interfere with others: Interfere with any other user's use and enjoyment of the Service
  • Abuse reports: Submit false or frivolous abuse reports or infringement notices

4. Consequences of Violations

4.1. Actions We May Take

If we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have violated this AUP, we may take any or all of the following actions:

  • Remove or disable access to the violating Content
  • Issue a formal warning to your account
  • Temporarily suspend your account and access to the Service
  • Permanently terminate your account
  • Disclose information about you and your Content to relevant authorities, law enforcement agencies, or rights holders where legally required or reasonably necessary

4.2. Repeat Violations

Accounts with three (3) or more confirmed violations of this AUP will be permanently suspended. No refunds will be issued upon termination for AUP violations.

4.3. Severe Violations

For the following categories of violations, we reserve the right to immediately and permanently terminate your account without prior notice and without opportunity to cure, and to report the matter to relevant authorities:

  • Any content involving child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
  • Distribution of malware, ransomware, or other malicious code
  • Terrorist content or content promoting mass violence
  • Any other content that is clearly and egregiously illegal

5. Reporting Violations

If you believe that Content on the Service violates this AUP:

  1. Visit our Contact page
  2. Select "Report an Abuse"
  3. Provide the transfer link or URL, a description of the violation, and any relevant supporting information

We review all reports and will take appropriate action in accordance with this AUP and our Copyright & Takedown Policy.

6. No Monitoring Obligation

We are not obligated to monitor Content uploaded to the Service. However, we reserve the right to use both automated and human means to detect violations, as described in our Terms of Service. We act as a hosting provider and are not responsible for Content uploaded by users, subject to our obligations under applicable law.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this AUP from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email at least 15 days before the updated policy takes effect.
